OUTDOOR PLAY
• We explore nature by using the outdoors as our classroom
• We make use of outdoor toys such as parachutes, balls, cones, chalk, bikes, skateboards, skates, etc.
GEOGRAPHIC EXPLORATION
• Each week we focus on a different science theme from insects to sense to the solar system
• Hands-on activities including crafts, cooking projects, science experiments, and music
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
• Encouraging every child to engage in social activities
• Focusing on individual activities during the learning periods of our day
• Dedication to the development of both individual focus and social skills
PRACTICAL LIFE SKILLS
- Cooking: Each week, campers will help to create multiple meals to share. Expect to see recipes brought home
- Sewing: Campers will sew each week, learning mending and more.
- Leadership and Diplomacy: Each week, each camper chooses an activity to lead for the group. Teachers will assist
- Home Garden: We will refine our gardening skills working in our garden each day
